It sounds like your HP Envy Inspire 7258e is experiencing an issue with the photo tray, possibly due to a paper jam, misalignment, or a hardware malfunction. Here’s what you can try to fix it:
Check for Paper Jams
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the front panel and carefully remove any stuck paper from the photo tray.
- Make sure no small bits of paper are left inside.
Ensure Proper Tray Alignment
- Remove the photo tray completely.
- Reinsert it gently, ensuring it clicks into place properly.
- Try printing again.
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Turn it on and check if the issue persists.
Update the Printer Firmware
- Open the HP Smart app on your Android device.
- Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Firmware Update and install any available updates.
Let me know if you need further help!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
