My Photosmart 7510 stopped printing from the black cartridge suddenly about a week after I replaced it. Since it stopped printing mid printout, I tried a different new cartridge. It will not print. Color cartridges (including the phot black) are fully functional. I have tried to resolve the issue using the cleaning steps outlined on an old post in this forum (involving soaking the print head in very warm, not boiling, water) to no avail. The color cartridges still work but no black. It looks like I need a new printer but I have two sets of color XL cartridges for this printer and would like to know if there is a current HP model that uses the 564 series ink or if there is a way to "trade" them for whatever new cartridges are appropriate for the new printer. This printer has served me well for over 8 years and I am sorry to see it need to be replaced. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.
