I'm having trouble with ink smearing/streaks when printing 6 3/4 Envelopes.  Would a replacement print head fix this?

Welcome @Redeagle999,

Thanks for engaging in the HP Forums! I see by your post that you are getting smears and streaks when printing on envelopes. I will certainly do my best to help you.

Are you having this issue printing on plain paper also?

It may just be a driver paper setting that needs to be changed.

I would start with the cartridges first. Try these steps and let me know the results: Fixing Poor Print Quality.

What are the ink levels and are you using Genuine HP Ink?

Does HP no longer make the PhotoSmart series of printers?  I need to replace my 7520.

Hi @Redeagle999,

It looks like the Envy models are the new replacements for the Photosmart models. You can contact HP Shopping to find out more information.

Thanks!
