Product: Photosmart 7525
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a Photosmart 7525 and black will not print.  I put a new black cartridge in, cleaned the black printer head and cartridge heads with alcohol, ran clean cartridges, align printer, reset factory defaults and it still does not print black.  The align printer results in "alignment failed" message.  Help please!

Gotta print black in order to align...

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart 7525 printer.  Note that if black is not printing this will cause the alignment to fail.

Thanks for sending the procedure.  I tried the steps including soaking the print head.  I ran a test page and still no black.  When I tried running the clean option, I now get an "there is a problem with the printer or ink system.  Turn printer off, then on and if the problem persists, call hp"   I turned it off and on and it tries to align and then gives me the same message.  Help please.
