Photosmart Plus B210

Hi,

 

after a Reset my Photosmart Plus B210 wants setup cartridges. As I didn't have the original ones, I tried it with cartridges of the same type a friend had of another printer. Unfortunately, also after several times switching on and off and cleaning the contacts (like described in here), the message doesn't change.

 

Any chance to get past that message?

How did you reset the printer? A simple Factory Reset from the front panel should not do this.

My mother resetted it, and she does not know how, so I'm sorry I can't answer your question.

 

However, I managed to get past the message and the printer working again 🙂

I inadvertently reset the printer and now it requires the SETUP cartridges which I do not have.  Is there any way to activate the printer without these cartridges?

Please advise since I am desperate.  Thanks.
