Thanks for the reply and providing the screenshot. Looks like you printer has black cover instead of a blue one. Did you install an ink tank/CIS in the past?
For your printer, if you need to replace the printheads and the cartridges, the cost would be more than a new printer. Personally, I would recommend you to contact our phone support and have your printer replaced with a newer model.
Keep me posted.

Hi Chimney,
I must thank you for you assistance in this matter but I have to report that not being fully conversant with the inner workings of this printer, I failed to notice that the print head carriage was not parked in the left hand side and that on reading the manual I found out how to get the carriage to move fully to the left and there was the blue cover! I have cleaned the print heads and now have to order some ink.
Once ahain, I do appreciate your assistance.
Best wishes,
cadcro1

Hi Chimney, many thanks for your assistance thus far. Having manually cleaned the printheads I am now getting a message directing me to replace the LIGHT MAGENTA/LIGHT CYAN printhead as being faulty. Is this indicative of an electrical fault or an ink priming problem; in other words is the PRIMING of the printheads monitored during the initializing phase?
