Hi, I need some help. The plastic encoder has come off on left hand side on HP 7510 and do not know how to reconnect. All the imaged I've seen do not reflect what I have.

How do I reconnect it back to the below image?

You have a part missing, a metal piece that acts like a spring and keeps encoder tension, it probably fell somewhere inside the printer.

Hi, I've tried looking for it but cannot find. Is there a part number or somewhere I can buy a replacement fitting that you know of?

You will not be able to get it unless you get a whole printer for parts.
