Hi,
I have two observations in my recently purchased HP107w printer. Firstly the Auto Power off is not switching off the printer after 5 min (which I configured via HP Easy print Manager). Secondly, once the printer goes into power safe (sleeping) mode, I cannot shut it off directly without bringing to online mode first. I have to press the power button to bring it out of sleep state and then press the power button again for 3 seconds to power it off. Is it normal?
Thank you,
Usman

Hi,
The power light is expected to blink as soon as the printer enter into sleep mode, pressing any button wakes up the printer.
This is perfectly normal that you must wake the printer first and only then to power it off while in ready state.
How is the printer connected to your computer? be aware that Auto Power Off would be disabled when the wireless connection is active, it can only be enabled with a USB connection, enabling the wireless interface of the printer expected to prevent the Auto Power Off feature.

Any Wireless activity disables this feature, disable Wireless Direct for the printer from within the HP Easy print Manager and then check for any difference then.
I would also suggest clarifying the current firmware version of the printer, print a Configuration Report and clarify the current System Firmware Version of the printer:

It solved the issue. With USB disconnected and wireless switched off, the auto shutoff is working.
There is an interested observation though. If you turn on the printer without USB or WiFi connected at all, the auto shutoff does not work. For it to work, the connection has to be established at least once and then disconnected. Can you confirm this?
