HP OfficeJet Pro 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

OfficeJet Pro 6978 indicated it had been shut down improperly after a power  outage and would not function.   The power was controlled through a circuit protected switch. Then instructed to remove any paper jam. There is no paper jam. The paper tray and all accesses are checked and closed properly. It then indicated a problem with the printer and displayed code 0x6100004a. This is the 3rd HP printer that has failed for no good reason. I am about to change to a different manufacturer. Help please.
