My HP Envy 6055e printer isnt connecting to wifi. When it comes to the stage where I need to press the flashing info button, I press it, and nothing happens and it either times out or says there was an error connecting. I have uninstalled and downloaded HP Smart several times, I have restarted my laptop, the printer, the router and tried a different laptop, and still keep encountering the same issue. It looks like Im not the only one having this issue because I saw a similar post and the answer resolved nothing.

To restore the printer to the original network settings

  •  Turn off the mobile device/PC.
  •  Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
  •  Turn on the printer.
  •  Turn on the mobile device/PC.

Run the setup wizard to get the printer connected to the new network.

  • Use the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer control panel display to set up wireless communication.
  •  From the printer control panel, touch (Wireless).
  •  Touch ( Settings ).
  •   Touch Wireless Settings.
  •   Touch Wireless Setup Wizard.
  •   Follow the display instructions to complete the setup.

Once done, Please reinstall the HP smart app, open the app, and click on add printer on top. Select your printer and follow the on-screen instructions to get your printer configured on the app.
