My All in One has several faxes that went to memory because the printer has been out of ink (depleted cartridges). I bought a new Fax/Printer so I'd like to just hook the first one to my computer and download to PDF (or whatever) the saved faxes so I don't have to buy new cartridges. Can I do this?

You cannot do that. You can only reprint faxes stored in the memory.
Please refer to page number 69 and 70: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03026243
