Hp Office Jet 801 5e
I have had 3 phone calls in the last week regarding my printer displaying a print head error. It began with some lines of printing being missed and worsened to no ink printing to just a mess printing. This is my work printer which in in warranty with a receipt at 11 months old. Despite following advice on the display screen with cleaning and aligning I am disgusted by the way my issue is being dealt with. I have asked why went it is in warranty it cannot be replaced. If the printer cannot handle my minimum printing at 11 months old it is not going to survive another few years. The advisors seem more interested in messing around sending me new ink cartridges when this is quite clearly a hardware problem. I am no it genius but waiting another 5 days for ink is not going to solve my problem and make my printer work. I am to install the ink when it arrives and call back probably wasting another hour of my time to then see it clearers my ink problem. My problem is not ink it is a print head problem which i have clearly stated 3 phone calls and 2 hours ago. For a product in warranty and with a receipt.. I expect more.

Hi @STURTONPC1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you are encountering a "Print Head Error" on your HP OfficeJet 8015e printer, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check for any obstructions: Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Open the printer cover and check for any obstructions, such as paper scraps, that may be blocking the print head. Use a clean, dry cloth to remove any debris.
- Check the ink cartridges: Make sure that your printer has genuine HP ink cartridges installed and that they are properly inserted. If the cartridges are low on ink or damaged, replace them.
- Restart the printer: Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for at least 60 seconds, then plug the printer back in and turn it on. This may help to reset the printer and clear any errors.
- Clean the print head: If the print head is clogged or dirty, it may need to be cleaned. Consult your printer manual or HP's website for instructions on how to clean the print head.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
