What is the difference between Color and Color Fine?
For black-and-white jobs, there's a Draft choice. For color, there's no indication which choice uses less ink. I'd be grateful to know which color setting to select if I want a draft. (It would also be good for HP to use a clearer term, like Color--Draft, instead of making uninformed users guess which is which, or waste even more ink by testing it out.)
Thanks in advance.

@LoisCA, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
The print settings also depend on the application you are using to print from. You may adjust the print quality settings on MAC by moving the Quality slider to the desired setting. It includes Draft, Normal, and best.
Kindly refer to Print Settings Guide to know more about the print settings on a MAC.
Make sure the printer and the MAC are up to date with their software.
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Also, check for any software updates on MAC
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
