Hi,

Since a couple of weeks my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdn gives the printing error 21.00.00. 
It does this on random times. Sometimes an email, then an .pdf or a Word file. The printer worked fine for 2 years but suddenly it gives this error a couple of times per day.

All the toners are original and the printer is connected through ethernet. I have the same random error problem om 3 HP windows 11 laptops. All updates installed.


I have contacted HP support and they advised my to install the Universal Printer Driver (UPD) from the HP website and not use the Windows automatic installed driver. This did not fix the problem. Then I contacted HP support again and they told me to reset the printer to factory settings and install it all over again. I also did this and still the problem is not fixed.

 

Please help, we cannot work like this in in our office.

By itself this is a page too complex error. However, this be triggered by a 13.YY.XX error which results in an instant stop of the engine. You should check the error logs to see if there are other errors.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have never seen a 13.YY.XX error. What does that mean and where can I find the error logs?

I have had the same problem as you for the past couple of months. It was working fine then one day it stopped. Even after restarting, installing the drivers, and clearing fax memory. I finally got it to work due to another thread I found which stated that it's due to restricting color printing. I had to make an account to answer your question, I hope this helps you!
