Hi @Londontyke
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Photosmart 7510 is canceling print jobs partway through, it could be caused by a variety of issues, ranging from connection problems to software settings. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions
Sometimes, printers will cancel a job if there’s a paper jam or something blocking the paper path.
- Open the printer and inspect for any paper jams or obstructions, both in the tray and along the paper path.
- Remove any jammed paper carefully, ensuring no torn pieces are left behind.
2. Check Ink Levels
Low ink or empty cartridges might cause the printer to cancel the print job if it detects an issue with ink levels.
- Check ink levels in the printer display or through the HP software on your computer.
- Replace or reinstall the ink cartridges if they are low or empty.
3. Check the Print Queue
If there’s an issue with the print queue on your computer, the print job may cancel or fail to complete.
- Cancel all print jobs in the print queue.
- On Windows, go to Devices and Printers, select your printer, and open the print queue. Cancel any pending jobs.
- On macOS, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and clear the queue.
- Restart the print job once the queue is cleared.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
