Hi All,
I sent a print job through my android phone (Operating on Android 12), when the job was sent, the printer started to update the software and the job was blocked. Upon printer software update, the job was stuck and I clicked on cancel job.
Now the job is stuck with the message "Cancelling check printer" on my android device and I am unable to print any documents with the android device.
Could you please let me know how do I clear my queue on my device?
P.S: I am able to print using other devices, it my phone app which has the cancelled job at the top in queue.

Hi @Mahesh40,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY Photo 6230 All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
While you respond to that, Let's perform a power drain:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle
Update the printer firmware
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
If the issue persists, then Clear the Android OS Print Spooler cache
Sometimes resetting and clearing the Android OS Print Spooler cache can resolve the issue.
On your Android device, tap the Settings icon , and the select Apps or Applications.
Select Show System Apps.
Scroll down the list, and then select Print Spooler.
Depending on your Android device, tap Storage, and then select Print Spooler.
Select Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Open the item you want to print, tap the menu icon , and then tap Print.
A print preview screen displays.
Next to Select a printer, tap the down arrow to view the printer list, and then select your printer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
