For some mysterious reason, every print job is printing out four times. Oddly, it appears I’m not alone - others have had the same problem!  I’ve confirmed all my settings (printer and software) indicate one page only.  Some even thought it was an InstaInk scam!  I’ve run thru the printer settings, done a hard reboot - nada.  Or should I say - Quattro!

Hi @bg921,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

That sounds really frustrating! Here are a few things you might want to check or try to resolve the issue.

  • Printer Driver: Make sure you have the latest printer driver installed. Sometimes outdated or corrupted drivers can cause issues. Go to the HP website, find your printer model, and download the latest driver.
  • Print Settings: Double-check the print settings in the application you're printing from. Sometimes the application itself might have settings causing multiple copies to be printed.
  • Queue and Spooling Settings: Look at your printer's queue and spooling settings. Sometimes print jobs can be duplicated in the queue. Try clearing the print queue and restart your computer.
  • Reset Printer Settings: If a hard reboot hasn’t worked, you might want to do a factory reset on your printer. This will return all settings to default and might fix the issue.
  • Software Conflicts: Ensure there are no conflicts with other software or print management programs that might be causing the issue.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Firmware updates can fix bugs and improve printer performance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
