I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e that is connected wirelessly to my desktop. When the print job goes into the queue, status changes to Error - Printing, and never prints so I cancel the print job. By the way, I can scan from the desktop.
1. I ran HP Print and Scan Dr 5.0.15 and completed the additional steps. A message displayed "HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 series PCL-3" failed to communicate, which is the printer name on my C: drive under "Printers." I then completed the 5 steps listed to resolve the problem – no luck.
2. In the Control Panel under Devices and Printers, the device status indicates the printer is working properly.
3. In Microsoft Support for Windows 10 to fix printer connection and printing problems, I completed uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, installing the latest driver, and cleared/reset print spooler.
Any advice?
