When I print in most functions on the printer, the print preview screen has the correct format. When it comes out, everything has shifted to the right up against the edge of the paper. In the most inexpensive way to print whatever the name of that is. It prints correctly

Hi @denny0203,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 6055 is experiencing a margin or scaling issue when printing in most functions, but prints correctly in draft or economy mode. Here are some steps to fix it:
1. Check Paper Size Settings
- Ensure the paper size in the printer settings matches the actual paper you're using.
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on the HP ENVY 6055, and select Printing Preferences.
- Under the Paper/Quality or Layout tab, confirm the correct paper size (e.g., Letter (8.5x11) or A4).
2. Adjust Scaling Settings
- In the print dialog before printing, look for a "Scaling" or "Fit to Page" option.
- Try setting it to 100% instead of "Fit to Page" or "Shrink to Fit."
3. Update Printer Drivers
- Go to HP's official website and download the latest driver for the HP ENVY 6055.
- Install it and restart your computer.
4. Check Printer Firmware
- Open the HP Smart app > Printer Settings > Check for Updates.
5. Try a Different Print Mode
- Since printing in Draft/Economy mode works correctly, try printing in Normal mode instead of Best or Photo quality.
- Open the Print Settings and change the print quality to Normal.
6. Test Printing from Another App
- If the issue happens in one specific program (e.g., Word, PDF viewer), try printing from another program.
- If it prints correctly elsewhere, reset the print settings in the problem application.
Let me know if any of these steps help or if the issue persists!
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
