My screen says my printhead is missing, not detected or incorrectly installed.
I've unplugged it 100x and taken the ink cartridges out and lifted up on the arm on the side of the cartridges also.
I've called the help center and the call won't go through, it says they can't help and then disconnects.
Do I need to order a new printer head? If I do, how do I know what I need?
What I really need is to talk to someone who can walk me through it. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
Updating the printer firmware might resolve printhead problems. Go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware for more information.
