Hi @Jean317,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there might be a communication issue between your computer and the HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e printer, especially after printing pictures. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue.
Restart Both Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary communication glitches. Try restarting both your computer and the printer.
Check Print Queue: Ensure that there are no pending print jobs stuck in the print queue. Sometimes, if a previous job hasn't completed or there's an error, it can prevent subsequent jobs from printing.
On Windows:
- Type "Printers & Scanners" in the search bar and open it.
- Select your printer and click on "Open queue".
- Cancel any pending print jobs if there are any.
On Mac:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer and click "Open Print Queue".
- Cancel any jobs that are stuck.
Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause communication issues.
- Visit the HP support website, enter your printer model (OfficeJet Pro 9135e), and download the latest drivers for your operating system.
Check Printer Connection: Verify that the printer is properly connected to your computer via USB or network connection (depending on how it's connected).
Printer Settings: Check the printer settings to ensure that it is set as the default printer and that there are no errors or warnings displayed on the printer's control panel.
Firmware Update: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Firmware updates can fix bugs and improve performance.
Network Issues: If your printer is connected wirelessly, ensure that there are no issues with your Wi-Fi network that could be interrupting communication.
Reset Printer: As a last resort, you can try resetting the printer to its factory settings. This will clear any settings that may be causing the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
