My print cartridge is truly LOCKED to the right.  It's NOT a paper jam.  I've done everything associated with a paper jam.  Please don't send me advice about paper jams.  This is a HARD lock/jam.  I try to move the carriage manually.  It moves maybe an inch and hits a HARD clunk/lock.  Something, a detent lock, a broken piece, or some switch keeping a hard lock in place.  Carriage won't move when I open the top to replace cartridges.  Carriage won't move to print.  There must be some sort of mechanism that locks this thing for transport, but is normally deactivated when top is lifted or print command is given.  Perhaps a mini electro magnet or solenoid or something that releases the carriage to move that is not being released.  I repeat, it's NOT a paper jam. It will not print any sort of "printer status" page.  If I try to print I get "print error" message.  Don't send me advice about paper jams.  I've tried the standard stuff.   I need to know if there is a way to manually probe and unlock what is holding this thing.  What truly locks it into place until released to print or change cartridges?  Is it fixable without taking the thing apart?
