My fairly new Envy 6455 printing is at times unreliable and won't print. I have to unplug printer, wait, plug back, then it works. Tired of having to do this.

I will reply as I'm having the same issue with my HP Envy 6455e. I have a Dell Inspiron Laptop run Windows 10 Pro v21H2 and I've had the printer for about two weeks. I will print something, the printer will make noise like its going to print but it doesn't. It sits in the que looking like its printing but it never does. The only thing that works is to unplug the printer and try again. No error message appears for me. This is getting very old.
I am also have an issue with printing double sided. Sometimes it works, if I've just restarted the printer, but most of the time I get both an E4 and and E2 error. There is no printer jam and everything is set to the correctly, letter, size paper. Yet it still thinks I'm using the wrong size paper and jamming for some reason.
This is all getting very frustrating!!

My fairly new printer Envy 6455e is unreliable. It prints fine, then suddenly it does not print. I have a Mac. The only thing that solves this problem, is to unplug the printer, wait 1 minute, then plug it again, and it prints fine again. This happens on and off, sometimes it works well for weeks, then it stops printing. I have no problem with the internet and the modem is close by. The printer is operating wirelessly. The printer is plugged directly in the wall socket. I called HP support several times....no help. I deleted the printer, then reinstalled it again, it helped but not help for long. Can someone help?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
