Hi @Philip485,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Error code "0xc19a0003" on HP printers typically indicates an ink system failure. Here are some steps you can try to fix this issue.
- Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord from the back, wait for about a minute, and then reconnect the power cord. Turn the printer back on.
- Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges: Open the printer cover and remove all ink cartridges. Check for any visible damage or leakage. Clean the contacts on both the ink cartridges and the printer with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water. Reinsert the cartridges firmly into their slots.
- Reset the Ink System: Press the "Setup" button on the printer's control panel, navigate to "Tools," and then select "Restore Factory Defaults" or "Reset Ink Levels" (the option may vary depending on your printer model). Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the ink system.
- Update Firmware: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. Visit the HP support website, enter your printer model, and download any available firmware updates. Follow the instructions provided to install the updates.
- Clean the Printhead: If the issue persists, the printhead might be clogged. Most HP printers have a built-in printhead cleaning function. Refer to your printer's manual or control panel menu for instructions on how to run the printhead cleaning utility.
These steps should help you troubleshoot and resolve the "0xc19a0003" error on your HP Photosmart 5510 printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
