I have turned off my printer and computer and unplugged but the error code 620192F4 keeps popping up and I'm unable to print.  How do I fix?

Hi @Renee9511,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the error code. The HP printer error code 620192F4 typically indicates a firmware or internal communication issue that persists even after restarting the printer and computer.

Here’s how to fix it:
1. Use HP Smart App – Diagnose & Fix

This tool can automatically resolve many internal errors.

This tool checks for:

  • Firmware issues
  • Print queue errors
  • Offline status
  • Port mismatches

2. Reset the Printer to Factory Defaults

If the error persists:

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Go to the Setup menu on the printer control panel.
  3. Navigate to Settings > Restore Defaults.
  4. Confirm and restart the printer.

This clears internal memory and resets firmware settings

3. Update Firmware

Outdated firmware can cause persistent error codes.

  • Visit your printer’s support page: 👉 Official HP® Support
  • Enter your printer model and download the latest firmware update.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
