Can anyone tell me what this error code means "00829C98" on my printer?

Additionally, you can try the following general troubleshooting steps.

 

  • Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a minute, and then plug it back in.
  • Update Firmware/Software: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware or software updates. Visit the official HP website for any available updates.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions in the printer.
  • Restart Your Computer: Sometimes, issues may be related to the computer's connection with the printer. Restart your computer and try printing again.

I've done all that every time it happens. I want to know what the error code means so that I can maybe prevent it from happening in the future. The error code is: 00829C98

If you know what that means, that would be a great help.

Is there a direct email for a Tech? Because the link you provided keeps leading me back here and to the virtual assistant. And not to a live chat with a tech. Which is what I really want. OR a link to a list of printer error codes so I can look it up myself.
