My printer came up with a print failure in the middle of printing.  I resetting the priont head, doing the hard reset.  The screen will not let me click on the back arrow in order to get to the set up screen and do a partial reset.   Is there another way to reset this to factory settings?

Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, there's an error about "Printer Failure".

Don't worry, I'm here to help!

Let's try these steps -

Step 1 Reset the printer -

1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Step 2 Update the printer's firmware -

Refer to "Download firmware updates from the HP website" from this document.

If the issue still persists I have sent you a Private Message with the troubleshooting steps specific to your printer.
