Printer Failure: There is a problem with the printer or print system. Turn the printer Off, then On. If you continue to get this message, contact support.

Event Code: 71.02.4A

Followed Sandytechy20, HP Employee's suggestions on-line and still does not work. Same Printer Failure occurred again and again.

And if the issue still persists, this could be a hardware issue.

I am getting the printer failure message event code 71.02.4A. I have tried everything and nothing has worked. Hp officejet 8022 all in one printer

I have the same problem with my office jet 8022. I keep getting the 71.02.4A event code, says there is a problem with the printer to turn it off and back on and if the problem continues to contact support. This printer isn't even a year old. Can you please help me with this?

I understand that you are getting a printer failure error, I am glad to assist you.

If you have tried all the steps mentioned in this HP document:- Click here

And is the issue still persists, you might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer to fix this issue.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
