HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 All-in-One Printer

HP All in One Officejet Pro 6975. Was working fine and then it wasn't. Getting a message: "Printer Failure" There is a problem with the printer or print system. Turn the printer Off, then On. If you continue to get this message, contact HP )x6100004a". Before that it kept saying that I have a paper jam, but I am certain that I do not. It said I turned off my printer inappropriately but I have been using the on/off button. When it boots up it says I shut it down wrong. Won't print anything via USB (which I hate) or wirelessly from my smart phone. Seems like issues started when I got Instant Ink. Before that I had other issues and Instant Ink seemed to solve those. I am tired of HP failing and their solution is usually just to buy a brand new HP printer at a reduced special price. Is this how they stay in business? They don't even want to support my printer anymore and it isn't ancient, but that is how they get you because they decided when they don't want to help you anymore and then you are stuck with a non-functioning piece of electronic hardware that needs to be recycled. Only reason i actually got this printer was I wanted one that did wireless printing and my old HP did not. It has been nothing but a headache since. I live rurally and being without a computer printer is not acceptable. I can't just drive into town either to print something. Oh and when you try to contact HP for help they say you are out of warranty so any help with cost you other than "silicone Sally" the virtual assistant that doesn't have a clue how to really help you with your issue. Am I destined to just have to buy another printer even though I cannot afford one right now? Is this a hopeless cause to try to figure out how to get this working again?

Hi,

Please follow below support document to troubleshoot a such, it might resolve but might require a repair due to an hardware failure:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03439615

see if the listed steps may help, else this would require replacing or servicing the printer.

This is NOT an accepted solution. I was trying to see what your link said and it just said "Solved". What is that? I didn't even see what your link said?
