I’m using a HP Officejet 6600 and I’ve been using it regularly, only printing out a few things a month. Printer is out of warranty, but never been used out of a residential setting. This past week, upon turning on we received an error message stating "Printer Failure", see below:
Solution 1: Reset the product
Turn off the product, and then unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord back in, and then press On button to turn on the product.
Solution 2: Contact HP support.
Write down the error code provided in the message, and then contact HP support.
I’ve tried Solution 1 to no avail, and without a warranty this is the only option besides the virtual agent, which needs an error code…. that isn’t available!
Any ideas (please) on what to do? I have no idea what's up and don't want to buy a new printer, but it's unresponsive at this point.
Thank you in advance.
