Printer Failure - There is a problem with printer or ink system.

 

New cartriges two weeks ago. Worked fine until today. Removed and checked all. OK. Removed cartrige holder/tray, cleaned and restored. No change. Off/on no help. Unplug no help.

 

Anyone with ideas?

Blundered through every suggested step online  and then some. Finally got printer to almost work. Almost.

 

Will not print because of cyan cartridge. Was working fine. So replaced with new HP 951 C.    Nada! Did not like it. Back to previous almost new 951XL C. Nope. Again tried new HP 951 C. No again.

 

Apparently not cartridge.

 

Throw printer in trash?

I appreciate your patience! What exactly happened when you tried the different cartridges? Did you receive any error messages, or was the printer not recognizing them at all? Let’s figure this out together!

the same thing is happening to my HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer. I've tried everything but nothing works. Its been about 2 years since this problem happened.
