Product: OfficeJEt 4650
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina
I've tried every solution on the forums--multiple times--and i can't get my error messages to clear / printer to work at all.
Please HELP!
So here is the background:
I received this printer from a friend and used it for a few months without problems. It had generic cartridges installed.
I am NOW trying to enroll it in Instant Ink program and use it for homeschooling.
--So FIRST error (online) says:
"Printer code not recognized. Try again."
This happens every time i try to register the printer with the Instant Ink program. I've reset/unplugged the printer a million times, restarted/removed Web Services, entered a million different claim codes. Yes, I am using only the first part of the ePrint address.
--The SECOND error (on printer) says:
"Cartridges Missing"
So, I can't even get new cartridges ordered to install to get this message to go away.
--The THIRD error (on printer) says:
"Service Station Stalled"
I've tried every single solution on the Forums to get rid of this message. It's just not happening.
I'm not usually one to want to speak to a customer service rep because i can always get an online/forum solution to work, but i've been at this for days and I have ZERO progress. Can ANYONE help with ANY of this?
Thanks in advance...

UPDATE!!
Finally got thru to tech support and after performing all of the solutions provided on the Forums (to no avail) they told me there is nothing to do to get the Service Station Stalled error to go away and to just buy a new printer. 😡👹
