Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
The “User intervention required” message means Windows has paused the print job because the printer or print queue is reporting that something needs attention. I would request you to please follow the steps:
Restart the printer
- Turn the printer off.
- Unplug its power cable from the printer.
- Wait about 60 seconds.
- Plug it directly into a wall outlet.
- Turn it back on and wait until it is ready.
Clear the stuck print jobs
- On Windows, go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP DeskJet Plus 4100 series.
- Open Print queue.
- Cancel every pending document.
- Try printing again.
Restart the Windows Print Spooler
- Press Windows + R.
- Type services.msc and press Enter.
- Find Print Spooler.
- Right-click it and select Restart.
- Try printing again.
