HP3600 series

I have printer that will go through the motions of printing but it will not print ink on the paper. I just changed the ink cartridges to XL and I do not want to throw them away. I have tried to go through the troubleshooting items but none of them seem to work. Could anyone help with this?

HP Officejet pro 6968. black does not print. I have run all of the cleaning routines several times. Have always used HP cartridges. New black cartridge ejects blank paper. The old black cartridge (not empty ) does the same. Had bad experience with virtual advisors

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
