I know this printer, this has many smart features to help easy to use it, but if you get this issue with it, i will suggest you the simple tips to solve it, first, just download and reinstall again hp officejet pro 8600 driver  and the second just update printer drivers that installed on your PC in device manager. I hope it will fix your problem issue with hp printer
