HP LaserJet Pro 500 color MFP M570dn

Been trying to print from our LaserJet but have hit multiple different issues. For starters the printer is showing 'Offline' status. I have tried turning off and on, unplugging and re-plugging back into the wall after waiting and nothing has helped. The Display screen is also showing as black. It shows all the options when immediately plugged back in and makes noise like it is going to start up, but then goes to a black screen. There are two control panel lights flashing: the attention light and the ready light. I can also see the '?' symbol on the control panel, but nothing happens when i try to push that button. All I can see on the printer are the two flashing ights and the '?'. Please help!

If you have a black screen and you are unable to access the printer through network or usb then the most probable issue is a failed formatter. If you can still access the printer even though the screen is black then the control panel is suspect.
