The colour cartridges in my printer are relatively new. They were working just fine the last time I used my printer (and nowhere near empty). My printer was unplugged for about 2 weeks, and when I plugged it back in to use it last night, it suddenly thinks all 3 colour cartidges are completely empty (not low, COMPLETELY empty) and will not let me print.
I have tried removing the cartridges, doing a hard reboot on the printer, and reinserting the cartridges, and this has not worked. I don't want to drop another $70 on ink when these cartridges should be working. Has anyone else had this issue?

Remove any of the indicated empty ink cartridges. Gently shake it in your hand, if you don't feel any liquid movement inside ink cartridge then your cartridge is empty. The minimum amount of liquid ink inside the cartridge can be felt when shaking if you don't feel it it's empty for sure.
