Set-up the printer and get an error message that says packaging still needs to be removed.  The only thing I could see was a white strip in print cartridge area.  I tried to remove that and the printer died?

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. 

 

Remove any protective tape that still might be on the nozzles.

   CAUTION: 

Do not try to remove the copper electrical strip.

Keep getting error message to remove packaging from cartridge area.  Have tried all the fixes suggested by HP and nothing seems to work!  Second one of these I have had this struggle with.

Tape already  removed.  No help whatsoever.
