Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

One month old computer and printer- I can net get rid of the error message.  I have rebooted both the printer and computer per the older board message instructions.  .  It is hard wired to the computer and plugged into the wall.  

 

I uninstalled printer and reinstalled.  It did not fix the problem.  

 

Any help is welcome.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting printer validation error message.

 

Try uninstalling the printer software from root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.

Also, download and run print and scan doctor on your PC and check if it helps.
