After printing, rhe printer starts to chirp and resets the number of copies to 10. Have unplugged, turned off, reset number of copies but problem persists

I understand the HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe is stuck with a default setting issue. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:
 

Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Support website or the HP Smart app. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Reset Printer Settings:

  • Go to the printer's menu.
  • Navigate to Setup or Service options.
  • Look for an option to Restore Defaults or Factory Reset.

Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer is not set to always print a specific number of copies by default:

  • Access the printer’s settings through its control panel or web interface.
  • Look for a setting related to default copy quantity and adjust it as needed.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes a driver issue can cause erratic behavior. Uninstall the current printer drivers and reinstall the latest version from the HP website.

Check for External Factors: Ensure there are no stuck buttons or issues with the physical control panel of the printer that might be causing it to reset.
