I originaly had a problem printing blue color so I was told to reset my printer. Well, once I reset the printer, now I can't print anything at all bc it is saying I'm not enrolled in HP ink. I'm logged in on HP smart, my printer status says connected and installed and I have a wifi address but I still can't print.
I have to say, HP is straight up garbage. I've spent days and days trying to get this printer configured over the last 2-3 years. It is horrible. I never had ANY of these problems with my Brother Printer. I'm never buying one of these pieces of Junk again.

Hi @zerofcool,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like resetting your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer may have inadvertently disrupted your HP Instant Ink subscription or the printer's connection to your network. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Check HP Instant Ink Enrollment
- Log in to your HP Instant Ink Account: Ensure that your printer is still enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program by logging into your HP Instant Ink account.
- Verify Printer Enrollment: Check if your printer is listed as active and enrolled in the program. If not, you may need to re-enroll the printer.
Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi
- Printer Control Panel:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to the Wireless Settings menu.
- Select “Wireless Setup Wizard” and follow the prompts to reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.
- HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app on your device.
- Go to the printer settings and select "Printer Network" to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
Reinstall HP Smart App and Printer Drivers
- Remove Printer:
- Open the HP Smart app and remove your printer from the list of connected devices.
- On your computer, go to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers, and remove the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025.
- Reinstall Drivers:
- Download and install the latest drivers for your printer from the HP Support website.
- Follow the prompts to reinstall the printer on your computer and reconnect it to the HP Smart app.
Verify Ink Cartridges and Printer Settings
- Check Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that your ink cartridges are correctly installed and not empty or damaged.
- Sometimes resetting the printer can cause it to not recognize the cartridges properly.
- Printer Settings:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the Setup menu.
- Select Printer Maintenance > Ink Cartridges > Clean Cartridges.
- Perform a test print to check if the issue persists.
Factory Reset Printer (If Necessary)
- Factory Reset:
- On the printer control panel, go to the Setup menu.
- Select Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
- Confirm and follow the prompts to reset the printer to factory settings.
- Note that this will remove all settings, and you will need to reconnect to the Wi-Fi and reconfigure the printer from scratch.
Following these steps should help resolve the issue and get your printer back to printing.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
