Today I printed two pdf shipping labels from Amazon - no problem. Then I went to Fedex to place a shipping order and could not print the pdf shipping label. I have printed Fedex pdf's before.
What happens is the job goes into the printing queue and then is automatically deleted. I tried several times. Once I downloaded it to my computer and tried to print it directly from Adobe but again the printer deletes the job. I can't figure this problem out. I have already paid for this label twice and need to get it to print. As I said I have printed these before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since the issue is specific to one PDF alone, you might want to try the below steps (if you haven't already):
Step one: Print the PDF as an image
-
Open the original PDF file, if necessary.
-
Click File, and then click Print, or click the Print icon (
). The Print window opens.
-
Click Advanced. The Advanced Print Setup window opens.
-
Select the Print As Image checkbox, change any other settings as desired, and then click OK.
-
On the Print window, click OK again to begin printing.
-
If these steps resolved the issue, there is no need to continue troubleshooting.
-
If the issue persists, see the next step.
Step two: Download the PDF again
If the previous steps have not resolved the issue, try downloading the PDF again. The file might have downloaded incorrectly or incompletely the first time.
-
If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
-
If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Step three: Advanced solutions
If the previous solutions did not resolve your issue, consider contacting Adobe for help with more advanced solutions, such as these:
-
Get the latest version of Adobe Reader
-
Upgrade to another Adobe product

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP ENVY 5540 All-in-One Printer and it is unable to print PDF documents. The print job gets deleted by itself from the print queue. You have tried to download the label and print it from Adobe and issue still persists. I appreciate the steps you have performed and have certainly done a good job.
I would like to know the following information to assist you better:
- I understand that earlier the printer was able to print the shipping labels. However, I would once again like you to check if other non-PDF documents print fine as of now.
Meanwhile, I suggest you to try a few steps that should help us to print the PDF labels:
- Please check if there is an option to print the PDF as an image and if the printer prints.
- If the issue persists then please perform the steps as described in detail from this link: Cannot Print PDFs from Adobe Reader
- You may also try the Print to PDF.
I hope this information helps. Let me know. Cheers! 🙂

Thank you for your help. Yes my printer prints other pdf's just fine as well as other documents. It seems to be specific to the Fedex label pdf. Although I have printed these before - can't get them to print now.
