I often use my printer to print docs from my phone. It always works perfectly. Until it started telling that the printer is blocked, when nothing is blocking it. I removed the paper put it back, checked inside, nothing.

To assist you better, what model printer are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

  • What is the exact error message?
  • Which device are you trying to print from? 
  • Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Hi, I have the same problem - blocked printer message with no blockage. Originally said paper jammed but there was no jam. Message now says Blocked - check printer. I've tried scanning something and that won't print either but it does print test pages. I'm using the Deskjet 2700 all in one
