Hi @Drea2673,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your printer displays a message indicating that it is blocked, it usually means that there is some sort of obstruction or issue hindering its operation.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue with your HP DeskJet 4155e All-In-One Printer:

  • Check for Paper Jams: Paper jams are a common cause of blockages in printers. Open the printer cover and check for any jammed paper. If you find any, carefully remove it, ensuring that no torn pieces are left behind.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Make sure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have ink in them. Sometimes, low ink levels or improperly installed cartridges can cause blockages.
  • Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.
  • Check for Software Errors: Ensure that there are no error messages or issues displayed on the printer's control panel. If there are any error messages, follow the instructions provided to resolve them.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues and improve printer performance. Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer
  • Check Connectivity: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network if you are trying to print wirelessly. Make sure that the printer is connected to the correct network and that there are no connectivity issues.
  • Reset the Printer: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the printer to its factory settings. Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

The only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset.  I will try that.  The other issue was updating my plan.  My card had expired for the monthly paper service.  I just got an email to follow thru with that.  I will see if that resolves it tonight
