Please clarify a little: Does the error clear if you turn the printer off and then? Does the printer come to ready and then you have the error when you try to print? An error as soon as you turn on the printer indicates a persistent and on this model usually means a piece of paper wrapped around the fuser. If the error only occurs when you try to print, that usually indicates either worn or dirty pickup rollers. If the paper feeds a little and stops you have a jam somewhere in the paper path and you will need to find it.
Post back a better description of what is happening and I can give you more detailed instructions.

If it tries to feed a little and stop I suggest the you clean the pickup roller that initially feeds the paper out of the tray as it may be dirty. Roller should be a consistent color with either ribs on it or fine fingerprint like ridges. If it is badly worn, it might require replacement.
