Product: hp OfficeJet 3830
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My hp officejet 3830 printer will not scan. When I try to use the scanning function, I get this message:

 

"You need a WIA Printer Driver."

 

I downloaded ran the Scan Doctor, but it disn;t help. I have left the Scan Doctor program running overnight, but it never seems to conclude. What do I do now?

Run the printer Troubleshoot option in Update & Security in Settings.
