Printer doesn't print zeroes on insurance EOB, just blank spaces.

Whenever I print out an EmblemHealth EOB, my HP 9015 suppresses all zeroes, so that $105.00" is printed as "1  5.  ").  All other numbers are fine, and it prints zeroes in other documents.  What's up with that??  Any help welcome.  I tried calling HP Support.  Didn't realize how awful HP was with that.  Then tried on-line, but even the request form for a phone callback prompted me for my country code (I live in the US, have no idea what the country code is.  Tried 1+, 011, then just gave up.
