My printer keeps printing either too high on the page or too low, and I've already done hard reset, factory reset, its not a problem with my mac because when I print the status report pages, its also the same. It just started to do this?

Hi @vantelok

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
  • Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Update the printer firmware

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Tools > Update the printer.

Now, go back to Setup > Tools > Align printer.

Complete the alignment process by scanning the printed sheet as prompted.

Try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
