HP OfficeJet Pro 9012 All-in-One Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Am getting the blue screen with error code; 01B3B8E6 for my Office Jet Pro 9012. Unpluged and pluged again but to no avail. Several others were given re-initialize instruction (or something like that). Is that what I need?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Unfortunately I went on to have other error codes. I replaced the cartridges with HP originals and all works well. This is sad because I had been using other brands for quite a while with no problems at all. Oh well.

Thanks for you attempt to help.
