Just got my printer a couple months ago and worked fine. Now it’s popping up with an error code: CD.1C.20.0B. Ever since the error popped up the only option I can do is restart the printer but I’ve done that and unplugged the power source and nothing it’s still displaying error. How can I fix this problem?

Hi @Piper29,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code CD.1C.20.0B on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e All-in-One Printer typically indicates a hardware issue, often related to the printer's internal components. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.
Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
- Turn the printer back on.
Check for Paper Jams
- Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Remove any stuck paper carefully.
Inspect Ink Cartridges
- Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed. Remove the cartridges and reinsert them to ensure a secure connection.
- Check for any protective tape that might still be on the cartridges.
Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
- On the printer control panel, tap Setup.
- Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
- Look for an option to Restore Factory Defaults.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.
Update Firmware
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date:
- Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- Go to HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.
- Check for firmware updates and install if available.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
